The Oil Club mainly serves Chiselborough, West Chinnock, Middle Chinnock Little Norton and Norton Sub Hamdon. It is run voluntarily and there is no joining fee. Placing a substantial bulk oil order for properties within a limited geographical area enables the supplier to offer a discounted price to residents. Orders are placed every two months, January, March, May, etc., closing dates are published in the Parish Magazine, Chiselborough Youth Club, this Website, and individual email reminders. Darch is the current supplier as they are a competitive, local company, aware of difficulties in accessing and supplying properties. The driver will leave a bill for payment within 7 days, otherwise a 2% surcharge will be applied. Frequent checks are made with other suppliers to ensure that prices remain competitive.
