Easter Trail, April 2022

Thank you to everyone who took the time to create something and/or to walk and enjoy the displays as part of the Easter trail this weekend. Over fifty displays were spotted and each contribution added to the magic of the event, seeming to send an unspoken message of connectivity and community. Sustainable materials, such as wood, willow, plants, flowers, cardboard, felt, hessian, scrap fabric and paper were assembled to create a varied spectacle throughout the village.

Inspired by creations that were also seen in Norton, West and Middle Chinnock, we would like to team up with our neighbours next year, to create an Easter trail across the Parish. This is an opt-in event, with no need to sign up, no restrictions on content and the event aims to be inclusive and evolve as the community chooses. If anyone across the parish would like to join in next year, the trail will take place again during the Easter weekend: 7-10 April 2023 - save the date! —Hannah
